Types of Fraud

Email Fraud

Be wary of fake emails claiming account issues and requesting a call to a specified number. Verify the legitimacy of such communications.

Lottery Fraud

Ignore messages claiming lottery winnings from Horizon Exchange promotions. Fraudsters may seek information to gain unauthorized access to accounts.

Phone Fraud

Fraudsters posing as bank employees may claim your account is frozen. Never share personal information, including One Time Passwords (OTPs), with anyone.

Social Media Fraud

Be cautious of fake social media accounts impersonating Horizon Exchange. Do not accept friend requests or respond to claims of winning campaigns.

Data Privacy

Protect sensitive information like Emirates ID, date of birth, and bank details. Fraudsters may exploit such data to hack into your accounts.

In case of Fraud/Unauthorized Transactions

  • Report the incident to your issuing bank and the relevant police authorities.
  • Dubai Police Toll-free number 901 (non-emergency) or 999 (emergency).
  • Submit a report through the official e-crime platform E-crime online platform.
